we currently pay our president an hourly rate for mamagement duties(approximately $200 per month) .As well a small fee of $25 (equivelent to monthly strata fee) to our treasurer and bookkeeper. I as secretary recieve $15 per meeting minutes I prepare. We are an unusual Strata--mobile homes on lots. The strata fees cover road and common area maintenance. My question is--is it legal to pay members of council and are there any other stratas out there who do this? Our strata rates would increase dramatically if we were to hire a management company and we see no benefit to doing that. We do our own bylaw ewforcemen as well which consists mainly of yard maintenance,parking issues,noise levels and pet issues
