I have recently applied for V.D.R regarding an illegal levy placed upon the owners within our strata.

The levy came about through pure ignorance on our current council's part.

They accrued legal fees in excess of $4000 in less than four months (an unapproved expenditure), and decided amongst themselves to disregard the S.P.A. completly and they are attempting to force the owners to all pay a portion of the fees.

This is the first time I've ever done this (V.D.R) and I'm just wondering if anyone has been through this before. Maybe provide me with a little info as to how this all works.

Council has accepted my application for V.D.R. and I am currently awaiting their nomination for a deligate.
